26 years as the general manager of an independent used car dealership. I personally oversaw thousands of financing decisions across every credit tier — from near-prime to deep subprime. I’ve approved deals other dealers turned away. I’ve also learned the hard way which deals to walk away from.
I started Bad Credit Car Guy because the information out there — for consumers and dealers both — is mostly garbage. Either it’s too vague to be useful, or it’s coming from someone who’s never actually sat across the desk from a customer who needs a car and has a 520 score.
Everything I put out is based on what actually works. That’s the whole point.
